PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS, William B. Meyer, Inc. has been in business for more than 90 years and is a fourth-generation company that prides itself on excellent customer service while moving families and business across the country; and,

WHEREAS, William B. Meyer, Inc. also specializes in a wide range of services including records management, off-site data protection, order fulfillment, rigging, office interiors, library relocation and logistics; and

WHEREAS, William B. Meyer, Inc. is dedicated to community service whether by delivering Girl Scout cookies, donating teddy bears to hospitals, helping ABC-TV’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” with full logistics including trucking, warehousing, inventory management and staffing to make a family’s dream of a new home a reality and being engaged in the Town of Stratford as an active and civic-minded corporate citizen.

NOW THEREFORE, I, James R. Miron, Mayor of the Town of Stratford, Connecticut, congratulate William B. Meyer, Inc. on its recognition as a Distinguished Honoree at the University of Connecticut School of Business Family Business Program’s 13th Annual Connecticut Family Business of the Year Awards Ceremony.
