Septic

  The SHD maintains a record of most homes with a septic system in Stratford. You can contact our offices to obtain a copy of your record.

A permit must be obtained prior to any type of construction to occur on properties served by a septic system. Permits should be applied for in advance of construction plans.

The Health Department also recommends that you have your septic system pumped and cleaned once every three years.
