Women's Heart Healthy Grant

In January 2008, Stratford was selected to receive a Women’s Healthy Heart Grant from the State Department of Public Health that would allow the

Healthy Stratford Council and Health Department to implement a community level, comprehensive heart health lifestyle program specifically targeted

toward working women. 

Program activities include:

Three, four-week healthy heart programs at local day care facilities and before/after school programs.

A women’s healthy heart walk.

Stratford Day events including health screenings.
