| Zdenka Solc has worked for the Stratford Health Department since September 2001. She is a full time grant employee involved with a variety of different projects for the Nursing Division of the Health Department and the school based Dental Clinic. Her duties range from coordinating the dental clinics, assisting with the flu and immunization clinics, billing, collections, marketing, dental outreach, training and other special projects such as February’s dental month. Zdenka is bilingual. She speaks English, Czech, Slovak, Polish and Russian. This skill proves to be an invaluable asset when dealing with the diversified population of Stratford. She has an Associates Degree in Business Administration, and has a Microcomputer Applications Specialist certificate from the Housatonic Community Technical College. She also earned Accounting Principles and Microsoft Office User Specialist certificates and is certified in Excel, Word and Access. Zdenka has eighteen years of Administrative/Accounting/Customer relations experience and has the advantage of being exposed to different cultural backgrounds.
