Welcome to Stratford Senior Services Stratford Senior Services’ mission is to enhance the quality of life within the community by providing services with professionalism and a commitment to excellence. This is achieved through six different program areas.   The Baldwin Center is Stratford’s Senior Center, open Mondays-Fridays, from 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM.   The Baldwin Center is located at 1000 West Broad Street in Stratford, Connecticut.  (Please click here for a map).  The Baldwin Center provides a place for social connection, learning and a healthy, active lifestyle. Please see Baldwin Center Programs and Activities. Assistance is available to Stratford residents 60 years of age and older with regard to energy assistance, renters’ rebate, tax relief programs, and other entitlements through the Municipal Agent/Social Services Coordinator.  The Outreach Coordinator makes home visits to older adults, plans programs at the Housing sites and coordinates our intergenerational programs.  Stratford’s Transportation Program is available to persons 60 and over or those who are disabled and on SSD.  Help with caring for an aged family member is provided through the Family Caregiver Support Program.  C.A.R.E.S. is a social model activities program for older adults who are frail or in need of some extra assistance. This Monday-Friday program starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 2:30 PM.  As you browse through our web site, we hope you will get your questions answered and consider taking advantage of one or more of our program areas.
