Welcome to Stratford Senior Services
Stratford Senior Services’ mission is to enhance the quality of life within the community by providing services with professionalism and a commitment to excellence. This is achieved through six different program areas.
|
|
 |
- The Baldwin Center is Stratford’s Senior Center, open Mondays-Fridays, from 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM. The Baldwin Center is located at 1000 West Broad Street in Stratford, Connecticut. (Please click here for a map).
- The Baldwin Center provides a place for social connection, learning and a healthy, active lifestyle. Please see Baldwin Center Programs and Activities.
- Assistance is available to Stratford residents 60 years of age and older with regard to energy assistance, renters’ rebate, tax relief programs, and other entitlements through the Municipal Agent/Social Services Coordinator.
- The Outreach Coordinator makes home visits to older adults, plans programs at the Housing sites and coordinates our intergenerational programs.
- Stratford’s Transportation Program is available to persons 60 and over or those who are disabled and on SSD.
- Help with caring for an aged family member is provided through the Family Caregiver Support Program.
- C.A.R.E.S. is a social model activities program for older adults who are frail or in need of some extra assistance. This Monday-Friday program starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 2:30 PM.
As you browse through our web site, we hope you will get your questions answered and consider taking advantage of one or more of our program areas.
Sincerely,
Diane Puterski, Director
