Town of Stratford Celebrates 4th of July
Dear Neighbor,
The 4th of July is more than fireworks, concerts and parades. It is a time for Americans to reflect and commemorate the National Independence Day of the United States.
The Declaration of Independence was adopted on July 4th, 1776 marking the separation of the first American colonies from Great Britain.
Independence is what binds us all as Americans. I encourage you to join us as we celebrate our National Day of Independence this Friday July 3rd at Short Beach Park.
There will be a concert at the concession stand deck at 7pm with face painting and other fun activities happening at 7:30pm. THE FIREWORKS DISPLAY WILL BEGIN AT 9:30PM.
For more information contact the Recreation Department at 385-4052. To view the event details click here.
Hope to see you there.
