Flicks at Flood -
Movie night at Flood Pool is Friday December 15at 6:15 pm.  The feature is the Polar Express.  Swimmers are $1 for those 18 & under and $2 for adults.  Spectators may watch from the stands for free.  Pool numbers are limited and fill quickly so be at the pool at 6:00 pm.  Small inflatables are allowed along with lifejackets.

Motor vehicle tax bills have not been generated, due to issues with the State of CT not determining a rate for motor vehicles.  Once the State completes their duties, motor vehicle tax bills will be issued.  As a result of motor vehicle tax bills not being issued, beach stickers have not been mailed.  Therefore, THE BEACH STICKER THAT EXPIRED JUNE 30, 2017 IS STILL VALID AND WILL BE THE REMAINDER OF THE SUMMER.

Beach Stickers for non-residents are $150/season or $20/day for Long Beach and Short Beach. For those residents with new cars or leased vehicles, a car registration or tax bill and a driver’s license must be shown to obtain the stickers at the Recreation Office at Birdseye Complex. For your convenience the Recreation Department Office will be open at Birdseye Complex on Saturdays beginning April 22-September 30 from 8-2 pm.  Resident cars without stickers will be charged the parking fee.  Current stickers(expires June 2017) will be accepted until the new ones are mailed out.
