Due to the COVID-19 State of Emergency All Town Buildings are Currently Closed to the Public.

Stratford Senior Services’ mission is to enhance the quality of life within the senior community by providing services with professionalism and a commitment to excellence.

The Baldwin Center provides a place for social connection, learning and a healthy, active lifestyle. The Baldwin Center is open Mondays-Fridays, from 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM. The Baldwin Center is located at 1000 West Broad Street in Stratford, Connecticut. 

C.A.R.E.S. is a social model activities program for older adults who are frail or in need of some extra assistance. 

Outreach Program- The Outreach Coordinator makes home visits to older adults, plans programs at the housing sites and coordinates intergenerational programs.

National Family Caregiver Support Program- The National Family Caregiver Counselor helps with caring for an aged family member.

Social Services – The Social Services Coordinator/Municipal Agent assists Stratford residents 60 years of age and older with applying for Medicare/Medicaid, Medicare Savings Plan, Energy Assistance, Operation Fuel, Renters’ Rebate, SNAP (formerly food stamps) and other entitlements.

Transportation Program- is available to persons 60 and over or those who are disabled and on SSD.
