On Thursday, May 15th, the Sterling Community Center held its 20th annual Celebrity Breakfast, proudly celebrating William “Mr. Bill” O'Brien with the Sterling Spirit Award.
Bill has been a true pillar of the Stratford community — as a veteran, elected official of Stratford, volunteer, and lifelong champion for youth and the Sterling Community Center. Mr. Bill has dedicated over 40 years to serving Stratford through his work with the SCC, the Stratford Veterans Museum, and beyond. His unmatched care, compassion, and commitment to shaping the future of youth sports in our town truly encompasses the essence of this award.
