Baldwin Center Programs and Activities

For those 55 years and older, there is always something fun and interesting going on at The Baldwin Center.  Clubs, activities and movies that are offered either at no charge, free-will contribution, or a modest fee of $3-$5 per class. Members also enjoy concerts, dances, cultural celebrations, lectures and special events.  Many spend playing cards, billiards or working on a jigsaw puzzle at their leisure. MY ACTIVE CENTER
You can now REGISTER ONLINE for Baldwin Center classes and programs by clicking bellow.

To Create an Account, You Will Need:

  • An email address

  • A Baldwin Center Key Tag

  • The phone number you provided to The Baldwin Center when you purchased membership

Follow These Steps:

  • Go to the My Active Center website

  • Click “New User” in the upper right hand corner

  • Click “Yes, I have a key tag”

  • Select “The Baldwin Center”

  • Enter key tag #, phone # and email address

  • Create a password

  • Now you are ready to register ONLINE!

Juneteenth Event @ Baldwin

Join us on Wednesday, June 12 at 12 at the Baldwin Center for "When Freedom Came: A Story About Juneteenth." Please join us as Professional Storyteller, Valerie Tutson, recounts the day the enslaved people of Galveston, TX gathered to hear General Granger announce the end of the war, and the end of slavery. This story is based in history, and told through the eyes of an imagined character.

Open to all, community members who don't have a Baldwin Membership should register below.
