The Office of the Building Official is open Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. The Building Official is available Monday thru Friday from 8:30am to 10:00am and from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.

What are the steps in obtaining a building permit?

For which activities are building permits necessary?
New construction, additions, renovations, demolition, trade work, signs, pre-fab structures.

When are building inspections done?
At each phase of construction: footing, underground plumbing, frame, rough wiring and plumbing, and insulation and certificate of occupancy.
