Stratford Community Services
Stratford Community Services mission is to enhance the quality of life of Stratford's diverse community. Core services include youth and family counseling, child and youth development, substance abuse prevention, and mental health promotion. We are home to the South End Community Center and the Stratford Partnership for Youth and Families.
Our vision is Stratford is an inclusive, caring, vibrant community where residents thrive, contribute, and are safe, valued, supported, and respected.
SCS is committed to the positive, healthy development and well-being of Stratford youth and families. Stratford Community Services was first funded in 1972 as a community response to the problem of substance abuse. Today, it is both a planning and a coordinating agency along with providing direct services.
Stratford Community Services is the local Youth Service Bureau and works closely with the Stratford Partnership for Youth and Families to assess community needs, develop plans to meet those needs, and implement programs directly or in cooperation with other organizations
