STRATFORD MAYOR LAURA HOYDICK MAKES RESIDENTS AWARE OF CT DOT VIRTUAL INFORMATION SESSION FOR UPCOMING STATE PROJECT TO ENHANCE SIGNAGE & MARKING IMPROVEMENTS ON ROADS AND INTERSECTIONS; SESSION BEGINS 6PM TOMORROW, THURSDAY, DECEMBER 19

STRATFORD, CT  – Mayor Laura Hoydick is making residents aware that there is a virtual information session for the CT DOT’s road signage and markings project that will make changes to the following roadways:

  • Spada Blvd at Honeyspot Rd

  • Huntington Rd at Tavern Rock Rd

  •  West Broad St at Beardsley Ave

  • South Ave at Spada Blvd 

  • West Broad St at Rockwell Ave

  • South Ave at Mt. Camel Blvd 

  • Broadbridge Ave at King St 

  • Huntington Rd at Fenelon Pl

The session will take place tomorrow, December 19th, at 6pm, to discuss CT DOT's plan and hear from residents regarding the proposed improvements. The project will replace existing stop signs and stop bars with oversized stop signs and warning signs to improve safety at high-risk intersections to reduce future crashes.
